Printapalooza 6

Get ready for the return of Printapalooza! Join us at the Hihiaua Cultural Centre in Whangārei on October 28th for an unforgettable celebration of printmaking on a grand scale.

Talented artists from all corners of the country are currently crafting massive 2-meter-long print blocks that will be inked and pressed using a road roller on this exciting day.

The artwork created during this event will be auctioned off, and all proceeds will directly support our mission at Te Kowhai Print Trust – to celebrate the art of printmaking, protect print taonga, and foster a diverse community of printmakers.

Bands ‘Mermaid Bait’ and ‘Ready Set’! will be kicking off from 11am!

We extend a warm invitation to everyone in the community to come and be a part of this fantastic day. Enjoy the lively atmosphere with great music, friendly people, and awe-inspiring art.

You’ll have the opportunity to witness the spectacle of large-scale printing in action and even participate in activities, including our Tiny Print Competition. Don’t miss out on this artistic extravaganza!
