We're always looking for new DJs to join Beagle.

As a Beagle DJ you'll be part of group of people who want to be active in and support our community. We're pretty into our tunes and we love hearing new stuff of any genre...though we're not so into playing stuff you hear on commercial radio because we're trying to do something different. Our DJ Agreement gives you an idea of what's involved.

You don't need any radio experience (in fact it's better if you don't), you can be any age (we have dedicated student shows 4-6pm each week day) and we try and be flexible with finding a time that works for you to be on air. Having said that, it couldn't hurt to take a look at our current schedule and see if there are slots available that could work for you.

We'll get in touch and put you together with a regular DJ who you'll sit with for a couple of shows. You'll get a feel for Beagle's kaupapa and what's involved with being a DJ on a community radio station.

After that you'll get training on how to drive the station (it's not too tricky) then you pick a time on the schedule and you're away.
